- friday 17.00 hr. Every shorttrack-skater knows the feeling of concentration before the race and the feeling of excitement or deception after the race. It always happens in the same place. Figure-skaters call this the Kiss-and-cry-zone. In shorttrack the name of this place is more simple: we call it THE HEATBOX. On the photo Wim de Deyne (BEL) and Jean-Charles Matteļ (FRA) ready for the third race of the preliminaries 1000 meter for Men.
