Special Olympics World Winter Games

- From 11-14 March 2025 the Special Olympics World Winter Games were held in Torino-Italy. In total 1470 athletes from 102 countries attended this event. On the program were 8 different winter sports. Among them also Shorttrack. In the shorttrack competition 75 skaters from 27 countries competed.

The next Special Olympic World Winter Games will be held in 4 years time in Switzerland. The Special Olympic World Summer Games will be held in 2 years in Chili.
