Universiade Luzern cancelled

29 November 2021   -   It is with great regret that the Organisation of the Winter Universiade 2021 has to inform everybody that the event, planned to be held from 11-21 December 2021 in Lucerne-Switzerland, has to be cancelled. The OC is heartbroken and very sorry that they will not be able to welcome the athletes from all over the world in Central Switzerland and the Grisons due to the Corona virus and all the travel restrictions. For this reason it is impossible for the organisers to hold a multi sport event under safe conditions.
