- During the Overall Award ceremony Diederik van der Steen handed out, on behalf of the Skate-Tec company, a special award certificate for a free pair of Skate-Tec Nagano blades. For every age category of the StarClass Amsterdam the name of a skater was drawn as a lottery. Skaters had to be present in the Edenhal Icerink at the moment of the draw of the name in order to receive this special award.
