Worldcup Heerenveen: first day for qualifying

2 February 2007   -   friday 16.00 hr. The first day of the Worldcup was used for the preliminaries and heats of the 1500m, 1000m, 500m and the second 1000m. On saturday the repechage will give an extra oportunity for the skaters who did not qualify to make it to the next rounds. The friday ended with the heats 5000 meter relay for men; in the second race the teams from France, Germany and the Netherlands came at the start.
