1 May 1977 - * on 6-7 March 1977 the first Open Dutch Championships Shorttrack was held in Amsterdam with 47 skaters from 11 clubs out of 7 countries. * On 16-17 April 1977 the 2nd ISU Shorttrack Speedskating Competition was held in Grenoble (FRA).
