European Championships Sochi

21 January 2016   -   From 22-24 January the European Championships shorttrack are held in Sochi-Russia. The Olympic Ice-berg Arena is ready to welcome shorttrack skaters from all over Europe. More then 130 skaters from 27 countries have been entered for this event. Among them the European Champions of last season Elise Christie (GBR) and Sjinkie Knegt (NED). Although it is freezing over over Europe with snow and ice in many countries, it is here in Sochi around 6-8 Celcius with a little bit of rain.
