Sjinkie Knegt honoured at StarClass

31 January 2015   -   On the second day of the StarClass competition in Heerenveen the new European Champion Sjinkie Knegt handed out the medals to the winners of the 500 meter. After this award presentation the alderman for sport of the city of Heerenveen, Jelle Zoetendal, came on the Ice to honour Sjinkie Knegt for winning the European title in shorttrack. The city of Heerenveen gave him a special award. Besides this Sjinkie got a special baby chair as a present (as it is known that he supported the development of the shorttrack community by becoming father in some time).
