Shower of World records in Erzurum

- The second day of the Junior World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Erzurum-Turkey, gave a shower of new worldrecords. Seven times on row the world record lists had to be changed.
This happened in the Ladies 500m 3 times: Kim Boutin (CAN) made 43.788, then Do Hee Noh (KOR) to 43.713 and as last Sofia Prosvirnova (RUS) 43.704. In the Men's competition on the 500m broke Denis Nikisha (KAZ) in the heats the worldrecord in 41.324 and he did it again in the 1/4-final in 41.027. In the Relay 1/4-final broke the Russian team the worldrecord in 4.05.321 and China broke this again in the semi-final in 4.01.947.
In the womens competition won Do Hee Noh (KOR) the 1500m and Sofia Prosvirnova (RUS) the 500m. In the Men's competition was Hyo Been Lee (KOR) the strongest on the 1500m and Sandor Lui Shaolin (HUN) on the 500m.
