- The Speed Skating Club of Mannheim "MERC" celebrated its 75th Anniversary with a Competition for both the Speed- and the Figureskaters.
The MERC was the first club in Germany who started with Short Track Speed Skating in the early 80's. Now the club is still very active in Short Track Speed Skating, Long Track Speed Skating and Inline Skating. MERC also has a very large and succesfull Figure Skating department.
