EC Sheffield: Relay Semi Finals

20 January 2007   -   The competition programme concluded today with the relay semi finals. The Ladies teams of Italy, Hungary, Germany and the Netherlands qualified for the final.
    In the first semi final Men, the favorite Italian team did surprisingly not qualify for the final, due to a fall in the first half of the race. The other three teams (France, Germany and Netherlands) kept so high pace, that the Italians didn't manage to overtake the other teams. Eventually, France and Germany qualified. The second semi final also showed a close fight for the first two positions. At the finish line Great Britain and Hungary remained just in front of Russia and Slovakia.
