- The Russian skater Sofia Prosvirnova showed on the 1000m again her power. She won the distance final in a time of 1.39.453. The second place was her team mate Anna Kalinina in a time of 1.39.455. The French skater Aurélie Monvoisin became third in a time of 1.39.593.
