- The Open Dutch Shorttrack was this season held on March 31 and April 1st in Turnhout-Belgium due to the early season closing of the Icerink in Amsterdam. Skaters from 26 clubs out of 6 countries came to compete in this event. Even this year a skater competed from the Sydney Arrows from Australia. Winner of the Overall Club Classification was the Boudewijnpark Snelschaats Club from Brugge (BEL). The second place was for Shorttrack Brabant (NED) and the third place for SV Utrecht (NED).
