Junior Europa Cup Shorttrack in Munich

- From 4-6 March the Junior Europa Cup Shorttrack will take place in Munich Germany. More then 130 skaters from 21 clubs out of 17 countries are entered for this event. The competition organized by the SLIC Munich is held on the Ice rink of the Olympic Park in Munich. OC-President Martin Ludwig explains: "the Junior Europa Cup is the final for the in East Europe held Danubia Cup series and the in West Europe held StarClass series. The best skaters from the overall classification in 8 categories have qualified for this event. That means that 64 skaters from West Europe and 64 skaters from East Europe will compete in this final. The biggest team is the Italian team with 19 skaters, followed by Poland with 16 skaters, Netherlands with 15 skaters, Hungary with 14 skaters and Germany with 11 skaters".
