EC Sheffield: relay 5000 m Men

19 January 2007   -   Friday 20.45 hr. At the end of the first competition day of the European Championships the relay heats for men where skated. In the first heat France (7:11.500) and Russia qualified. In the second heat Italy (7:13.182) and the Netherlands after a very exciting race. In the third heat, which was also very exciting, Great Britain (7:06.510) and Hungary qualified. Through the best third time also Slovakia and Germany made it to the next round. The ladies will skate their heats on Saturday.
