Opening Ceremony Vancouver

15 February 2010   -   On the 12th of February the Opening Ceremony of the 21st Olympic Winter Games was held in Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium. With this ceremony performed for 60.000 people in the stadium and millions of people around the world watching television, it was the intention of the Organizing Committee to promote international peace and understanding, honouring the world’s greatest athletes, and celebrating humanity.
