EC Sheffield: Bouvier and Rodigari win 1500 m

19 January 2007   -   Friday 19.50 hr. At the European Championships in Sheffield, Stephanie Bouvier (FRA) and Nicola Rodigari (ITA) won the final of the 1500 meter. Bouvier skated a time of 2:28.915 and let Katia Zini (ITA) on the second place and Arianna Fontana (ITA) on the third place in the final. The men's final was, due to an advancement, skated by seven of which five skaters were at the finishline within 5/10 of a second. Nicola Rodigari (ITA) won in a time of 2:17.297, Viktor Knoch (HUN) became second and Niels Kerstholt (NED) became third.
