Golden Sun Award presented in Turnhout

19 April 2009   -   At the Closing Games in Turnhout for the second time the Golden Sun Award was presented. This award was for the winners of the Overall Classification after a serie of International competitions. New in the serie was the "Speculaas Cup" held in Hasselt (BEL). The other competitions were the Open Dutch Juniors in Amsterdam (NED), the Easter Tournement in Gent (BEL) and the Closing Games in Turnhout (BEL). Unfortunately the competition in Meudon (FRA) had to be cancelled due to technical problems. The award was a special cheque, a bagpack and a bottle of sun-oil as a start for a holliday to the sun.
