Impressive sportsman Fabio Carta retires

19 March 2008   -   Fabio Carta (ITA) has decided, after the Short Track World Championships of this season, to bring his impressive carrier to an end. For many years Carta was a member of the National Team of Italy. The 7-times European Champion scored his highest World Ranking in 1998 with a third place in the general classification of the World Championships in Vienna (AUT). On behalf of many Short Track friends from all over the world we would like to thank him for the good sportsmanship he gave to us. We hope that he will continue to put his experience in Short Track Speed Skating for the coming years in other functions.
