Ventspils: Annita van Doorn first at 500 meter

19 January 2008   -   The final of the 500 meter of the European Championships showed spectacular racing. In a race where the decision was made on the finish line, the first place went to Annita van Doorn (NED). Erika Huszar (HUN) became 2nd and Evgenia Radanova (BUL) 3rd. Patrycia Maliszewska (POL), who was together with Annita van Doorn at the finishline, was disqualified.
