Bolzano: the World Records

15 January 2008   -   Two World Records were beated in Bolzano. In the Quarter Finals 500 meter for Men Han-Bin Lee (KOR) skated a new World Record in 42.173 and broke the old record of 42.536 from Ho-Suk Lee what was skated in 2003 in Budapest. The new World Record for the 1000 meter was constructed during a thrilling proces. In the first semi-final 1000 meter Yun-Jae Kim (KOR) won in a time of 1.27.666 and broke the old record of 1.27.983 from Hyun-Kon Kim (KOR) what he skated in 2003 in Budapest. But also in this race the numbers 2 Guillame Blais Dufour (CAN) in 1.27.814 and the number 3 Zhigiang Zhang (CHN) in 1.27.969 were faster then the old record. The proces was finalized by Yun-Jae Kim (KOR) in the final of the 1000 meters. He skated here again a new World Record in a time of 1.25.993!
