Champéry: good promotion for Short Track

23 October 2007   -   The Star Class competition in Champéry has ended with good promotion for the sport of Short Track. A big delegation of local politicians, Sport-officials and Swiss media attended the event. Hopefully this is the start for renewed Short Track-activities in Switzerland. The winner of the Star Class Ladies was Maaike Vos (SCT-NED), the Star Class for Men was for Edoardo Reggiani (AGO-ITA). The Juniors-A skated the Eurostar-competition. Charlotte Gilmartin (MIRC-GBR) won with the Ladies and Serge Plancher (USF-FRA) won with the Men. Ladies Senior winner was Gemma Cooper (NIRC-GBR) and Men Senior winner was David Grossenbacher (ISCD) from Switzerland.
