The podium of the medal winners of the Olympic Mixed Relay. The team of Italy (Sighel, Confortola, Fontana, Nadalini) has won the Mixed Relay in a time of 2.39.019. 2nd place Canada (Dandjinou, Roussel, Boutin, Sarault) in 2.39.258 and 3rd Belgium (Hanne and Stijn Desmet, Den Dulk, Petre) in 2.39.353.

This week: Milano Ice rink ready for Shorttrack
9 February 2026 -
All preparations of Milano Ice rink for the Shorttrack competitions has been done. All skaters and officials have arrived and all equipment like Photofinish Timing and administration is in position. For the signal of the last lap a real Bell will be used. This bell is specially made with the logo of the Olympics in it. Ready for the Shorttrack competition!

This week: Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina
9 February 2026 -
The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina has started with a wonderfull Opening Ceremony. The first day for the Shorttrack skaters is Tuesday february 10. At 10.30 the Heats 500m Women will start the program and after that the heats 1000m Men will take place. The rest of these distances will be held on Thursday. Further on Tuesday the complete program for the Mixed Team Relay will be held. If available results and photos will be published on this website.

This website gives competition-information, results, statistics, background-information etc. and is specially made for skaters, competition-organizers, statisticians, journalists and everybody who is interested in shorttrack-speedskating. The in this website imbedded entry-system allows federations and clubs to enter skaters for competitions and is a helpful tool for competition-organisers. PB-Event is a company from the Netherlands specialized in Sports Production, Timing, Telecommunication and Audio systems for sport events. They are also Producers for big and small Sport events. They also have been active for more then 50 years in speedskating and shorttrack. They have been working for the Grand Prix Track & Field Mexico, the Grand Prix Thales FBK Games in the Netherlands and for the Diamond League athletics in Shanghai. In the Netherlands they supply the technical equipment for many (sport) events. Contracted by the Rabobank cycling team, they have gone for a many years to the Tour de France. Their Telecommunication equipment has been used at the Olympic Games of Salt Lake City and also at the Olympic Games of Torino.
