Germany and Netherlands winner Invitation Cup

8 September 2009   -   On 5 and 6 september the International Invitation Cup Short Track was held in The Hague-The Netherlands. For this competition, as a start of the Olympic Year, the national teams from 6 countries were invited. In the Ladies-competition the team of the Netherlands became 1st with 5557 pnt, 2nd was Hungary (5534 pnt), 3th Germany (4058 pnt) and 4th Great Britain (3403 pnt). The winner of the Mens competition was the team of Germany with 6853 pnt, the 2nd place was for Great Britain (4643 pnt), the 3th place for the Netherlands (3997 pnt) and the 4th place for Hungary (2808 pnt). The best in the Overall classification for Ladies was Bernadett Heidum (HUN) and the best male skater was Tyson Heung (GER). All results and photos can be found on this website.
