New World Records at World Cup in Salt Lake City

21 October 2008   -   During the First Samsung ISU World Cup of this season, which was held at the Olypic Oval in Salt Lake City, the Chinese skater Meng Wang set a new World Record on the 500 meter. She broke the old World Record of 43.216 what she skated herself also in Salt Lake City on 9 februari 2008. The new World Record on her name is 43.125. Also on the 5000 meter Relay for Men a new World Record was set. The old record from Canada was beated by the Koreans in a time of 6.38.486
