Worldcup: China and Korea skaters leading

5 December 2006   -   After the worldcups of China and Korea, the national shorttrack-teams went the last week to the other side of the World for the 3rd competition in Saguenay (CAN) and the 4th competition in Montreal (CAN). After three worldcup-competitions the overall-classifications of all the distances are almost all dominated by the Chinese and Korean Skaters. On the 500 meter ladies; Meng Wang (CHN), on the 1000 m. Sun-Yu Jin (KOR), on the 1500 m. Xiaying Liu (CHN) and on the relay the ladies of China. In the Mens-classification after three competitions we see leading on the 1000 m. Ho-Suk Lee (KOR), on the 1500 m. Ye Li (CHN) and on the Relay the team of Korea. The only leading European Skater at this moment is Denis Bellotti of Italy who is number one on the 500 meter-classification after 3 competitions. On the website ShorttrackOnLine.info you can find the (not official) Worldcup-rankings of every distance after 3 competitions. On this website you also can find the (not official) World Ranking Lists. These World Rankings Lists are made up (based on the last ISU-regulations) over the past 6 competitions of which the result of the four best competitions is used for the overall-calculation.
